OUR PASSION
WORD – WORSHIP – WORKS

Word:
To inspire in one another a love for God’s Word.
Worship:
To develop a heart to worship and pursue the presence of the Lord.
Works:
To express the heart of the Father by touching others’ lives with His love. To inspire national and personal revival. To facilitate unity in the body of Christ.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

OUR VISION
WORD – WORSHIP – WORKS

Word:
To build a kingdom culture in which each believer develops a love for God’s Word, a responsibility to feed themselves on the Word, and a desire to share the Word with others.
To give care and attention to all new believers in order to form the character of Christ in them, help them understand their identity in Christ, and build up their faith by laying a firm foundation in God’s Word.
Worship:
To develop worshippers in spirit and truth who respond to God’s Word.  To demonstrate worship by obedience to God’s Word, love for one another, and passionate praise and worship unto the King of Glory.
Works:
To mobilize every member to minister, win souls, pray for healing and demonstrate God’s power in and out of the church gathering.
To develop disciples with a strong foundation through God’s Word who will be ready to help reproduce Christ-like character in others through missions and other ministry opportunities.

To proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord through various creative ministry outlets as the Holy Spirit leads us.

To promote and facilitate unity and cooperation among Christian churches so that as we participate in breaking down dividing walls, we will see the commanded blessing of the Lord over our community and churches.

What We Believe…

We believe that the most blessed people on the planet are those who have a personal relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Because we are so blessed and know that the kingdom of God does not exist in words, but in power, we feel a personal responsibility to offer those we meet an encounter with God that will transform their lives. We believe that when Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons,” He intended for those of us to come in the future to pick up that baton from the early church and run with it. We believe we are called to release and sustain a move of God in the earth that will bring glory to God and strength to His people.

May revival fire burn in each of us individually and may it light a corporate fire that will never go out!

We know some of you may want a clearer definition of who we are and what we believe, so we’ve listed the rest of the information to the right.

We Believe in…

God, the Father as the Creator of Heaven and earth. We also believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist as one God.

Jesus, the Son of God as the sinless One who came and sacrificed His life to save ours from sin. He died and rose again. He is seated with the Father in Heaven and will come again.

The Holy Spirit who is sent to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower believers for Godly living and service. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts according to 1 Corinthians 12.

The Bible as God’s Word to us, given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to
human authors. It is divine truth and guidance for the life of every believer. (2 Timothy 3:16)

Salvation by Faith as a free gift given to us by trusting in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made for us on the cross. The only way we can be in right relationship with God the Father is through the shed blood of Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8)

Baptism by immersion in obedience to God’s Word. It demonstrates our being buried with Christ and raised with Him to newness of life. (Romans 6:4)

The Lord’s Supper—We make the Lord’s Supper available weekly. Feel free to stay in your seat if you are not a believer or if you prefer to refrain. We ask you to examine your heart in accordance with scripture before coming to the communion table. We usually ask family and friends to join together to pray and take the bread and cup. (I Corinthians 11:23-29)

This program is a great opportunity to grow and be activated in your faith.

Great Teachers on DVD Lessons

WSSM uses the BSSM DVD Curriculum out of Bethel Church in Redding, CA. It includes biblically based DVD teachings from Bill & Beni Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Danny Silk, and others. Each class consists of a DVD presentation followed by discussion and activation led by a classroom facilitator.

High Motivation – Low Pressure

Students are equipped with teachings and testimonies on expanding the Kingdom of God. Each registration includes the manual for the section you are enrolled in. There is no required homework. Your facilitator will recommend reading, questions and exercises that will help you get the most out of the program. However, homework is not checked and no grades are given.

High Return on Investment

A $60 Registration Fee provides you with a manual that will cover the 8 classes for the section you are enrolled in. Classes are only held twice a month so that you can remain actively involved in your local church. Each class is about two hours long. If you cannot complete a section or would like to repeat a section, all you have to do is let us know. You can come back with the manual you already own and repeat a section free of charge.

Why Did We Start This Program?

The Williamsburg Supernatural School of Ministry is the fulfillment of prophetic words to our church that we would be a training center for Special Forces in the body of Christ. Put another way, JCF will become a Resource Center for encouraging individuals to go into the streets of Williamsburg, heal the sick, and lead people to the love of the Father and relationship with Him. We want to assist our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ in raising the faith level of our city.

How Long Has WSSM Been Around?

This program was launched in January of 2010. Since that time, we have had over 200 students from over 25 local or regional ministries participate in the school. After a couple of years, one local pastor, not involved in WSSM, told us that he had better leaders because of their participation in WSSM.
